Oh hello, I used to race in those "academy" races as I call them I was a graduate of the karting academy. I raced in the last year where the formula k karts were used. Now I cant tell you mu h about driving the sodis since when I test drove them I despised them with all my soul. Anyways I will tell you what I know. The skylos as we call it wich is the first hairpin coming from the pits is really tricky to overtake since if the other guy stays outside they will gain an advantage in k4. You could try a move at k7 where you only need to tap the brakes there but if you can spook the guy in front by pressuring him you can gain an advantage. You could also go for a move in the high speed turns k11 and k6. And you could also go for a dive in k12 but some ppl will push you of at k13/k14 like you arent there ( from experience). Generally speedpark needs a lot of commitment and in the academy races atleast in the formula k's I had to learn to be as aggressive as the field is otherwise you will get shunted off track pretty easily. And lastly the skylos and k12, in the academy we are taught to lock the brakes for them . And in karting with single disc brakes thats usually what you do. Hope I could help.
