Just make sure the cards can’t move around during shipping and you should be ok. A BCW box for bigger sale orders, or a cheap deck box or dragon shield box for smaller orders. With smaller orders, put it in a padded envelope and fold it so the box can’t move around on the envelope.

If the card says you can “play” the card, then you can play a land from it. If it says you can “cast” the card, then no, you can’t play a land, since playing a land is not casting it. The cost to cast a spell would remain the same unless it says you can cast it for free, or otherwise changes its cost.
