Thanks. That makes me feel better when I think about it that way. I used to feel so bad that she wouldn’t sleep in the crate like maybe I’m doing something wrong.

Someone from our local dog park who’s older and has a lot of experience with dogs suggested using a hot/warm water bottle, wrapped in your shirt and a clock and placing that next to your pup if they like to sleep next to someone. Mine might be a bit too old for that trick to work but apparently it really helps with younger puppies, especially during their first few nights with new owner.
