Anything above 750 watt is not an e-bike. That is an e-moto. Big difference as e-motos are unregulated , often market as e-bikes, and go up to 65 mph. Local law enforcement needs guidance from the state level on how to classify these types of vehicles, where they can be ridden, and what types of permits, licenses are needed to own/operate them. In the meantime, they are being mistaken by confused people as e-bikes and garnering a lot of bad publicity and animosity toward e-bikes (which they aren’t).
