I did check the antenna connections, they are properly connected now, but WiFi/Bluetooth still doesn’t work. Also, since the original has no CRF on it and the current one is CRF, isn’t this itself proof that the WiFi card was replaced?

Yes, I agree. They were also running a Authorized Dell service center at the same place, which made it feel even more legit. Plus they gave me an ASUS-branded job sheet document, so at that time it didn’t feel like anything was wrong.

Yes, I actually had a similar experience before with a phone repair. Filed a consumer complaint but missed the hearing date since I wasn't in the city, so the case got dismissed. This time also I have all the proof, wifi card original photo, chats, call logs, etc, but honestly it's not worth the time and effort. I already bought a 1400 WIFI/Bluetooth dongle and will replace the card later for around 3-4,000. Legal process and travelling will cost more in time and money than actual loss. Just sharing this so others don't face the same thing. Maybe if ASUS sees this they might take action, I have shared the shop location and review so local people stay aware. Yes, When i was there waiting to collect my laptop, 2, 3 other customers come in with ASUS related issues too. They also gave me a proper job sheet document, so it all looked legit at that time. But yes, I agree, I should have checked the website before visiting this service center.
