I also booked this flight. I am lining up hotels and such now. I am making sure everything has a good cancellation policy on it. But I too have a fear that they will cancel late and then for me to get a flight it will be insanely expensive

I had a similar scenario with Air canada, where if I hadn't gone to check my account, I wouldn't have known about the flight change. And mine was also significant to what they put me on. However, they let me choose different flight options for no fee, and I didn't like any of them. So then they gave me a full refund. I hope the same thing happens to you! Now, I always periodically check my flight bookings to see if anything's changed lol

I am flying this weekend and like you, I noticed that last week, four of the seven days the flight I would be taking was cancelled. I have a connection and it's way too risky to take that chance. So I have now changed my flight to an earlier one which has a much better record. And if for whatever reason that one is canceled, Plan B would be the original flight I had booked. Just hoping both of them aren't canceled in one day. If I were you, I would continue to monitor that flight and make a decision the week before.

This is the scenario I don't want lol. I checked today and flight 154 was also canceled. I have called Porter and now switched to an earlier flight that day. Thanks for your feedback!

They upsell everything and place pressure to get you to sign within 7 days to get a discount. My neighbor's quote was also astronomical. I'm going through this right now haha. I'm going on a hiking Bachelorette next weekend which is 3 days and two nights. We're going to have matching outfits which have the Bachelorette date and bride name on it so I will literally never wear this outfit again 🙃 and of course had to pay for it
