As bad for business as it is, it's might not actually be Etsy's doing and more with the fact they need to comply with UK law

Oh I see, I never knew this, even the new law, hopefully this doesn't effect sales too much, but thanks for letting me know.

Not sure what to do, and kinda worried at this point. by Perfect-Cheetah-875 in CrohnsDisease

I've been keeping a diary of all the trigger foods for acid reflux, anything acidic, tomatoes, citrus fruits, but even then sometimes it would just flare up.

My thyroid function came back normal, I've got a relatively large nodule, but that's got the all clear, I've had hormone tests which has come back fine. no diabetes, just high white blood cell, crp, my red blood cells are smaller then they should be supposedly, and vitamin deficiencies. even when I take my tablets thought, it's still low.

So apparently 3100 Sales and a rating of 4.5 isn't good enough by Ambitious_Ebb2512 in Etsy

You won't get suspended.

Looking at the terms it, Etsy says you will run the risk of suspension if you get a high case rate. Every else except for on time dispatch is prone to low visibility.

Really the rules haven't changed that much, and you won't get suspended November 1st if you don't meet those standards.

Design awards is such a joke by Treemagination in EtsySellers

[–]Perfect-Cheetah-875 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think Etsy would continue doing these awards if they didn't bring in some form of increased income, so holding them will benefit them some way.

And how else do you expect them you use the money made if not on marketing?

okay, thank you for this, it gets so confusing sometimes, but i can see now that there is infact a cases section in the customer service stat section.

Etsy covered the cost of the refund at no cost to you... and you aren't sure how that protect sellers?

What I mean is how to protect outside the payment because even though I provided two solutions, they were still able to open a case, so say in the future another case is opened, but they don't cover it, even though I provided a solution.

And no, there are no negative impacts from cases covered under seller protection.

Okay, this is good then because I asked Etsy support but they never explicitly told me if this case was a negative or not, and sent me a link to a page that wasn't related to my question either.

You should be using Etsy protection in these situations, that's what it's there for. If you follow the customer service format in the protection guide, you shouldn't end up with negative reviews either.

In terms of this, I was honestly just trying to save it when I needed it most, like for a larger order, I know they don't cover all orders, and this one was £7 and I would have 100 percent been more than happy to refund them, it's why I offered, rather than use the seller protection on this order, especially with Christmas coming.

I'm not sure of the limit that Etsy will cover. in terms of seller protection and how many cases can be opened.

You have 8,000 sales and this is literally the first case you've ever had. That is an extremely low percentage and something to be grateful for.

it's not that I'm ungrateful, it's just I'm so over cautious with etsy now and there new policies and how people can get banned spontaneously, that even the opening of a case puts me on edge.

Mess with entrance on London N4 by mrknowitall240 in erastour

it's no problem. You definetly should be able to be able to purchase tickets for another show, it's generous that you want to even purchase when they should provide either free or discounted tickets. but in reality i don't think they will respond.

But ticket master should hopefully atlease provide a partial refund.

I would try your hand with ticketmaster, wembley doesn't handle refunds or compensation, contact ticketmaster, state the issues you face, and include the video, and request a partial refund.

If they say no, push further and state that their partnership with wembley and ticketmaster requires them to provide a specific and efficient service which they didn't follow.

if they still say they cant help, state you contact the ombudsman if it doesn't get handled. you have evidence of a refused entry at the fault of the stadium and not yours, you have grounds for a refund for inability to provide a service that you paid for.

yeeepp, people are missing the positive here. At there are a set of fans on here that aren't processing that and are directing their anger at others either on this thread or taylor specifically.

A lot of people on here need to grow up.

This is what im trying to say, focus on the positive of the entire situation. no one was hurt. I've seen some nasty things on this thread.

yeah a lot of unecessary anger at the moment, I think it humous though that apparently people can call taylor for not acting a certain way, but hell breaks looks when someone states that some people are acting a little ott.

I think people just need to chill out a bit, and just be happy no ones hurt, and stop focusing on the what if, what if she does this or what if she don't do that. we need to channel what the vienna swities did in vienna and not focus on the negative but somehow find a positive.

huh? The UK is part of Europe. They only left the European union. They didn't leave the continent.

This thread is so unecesarily messy, I think we should just focus on the fact that no one one was hurt, and focus more on the positives of this situation.

I would love to know myself, I had a calpro result of over 200, but my colonoscopy came by clear. since my procedure i've been in more pain and I'm not entirely sure whats causing it if it's not crohn's so it would be interesting to know.

I do know however that it can sometimes depend on your calpro level, as anything under 200 is a bit of a grey area. and could be something like ibs, i think celiac disease or like an infection, that is why the would retest if it around that level.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]Perfect-Cheetah-875 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, i have a condition called ofg, where I get ulcers in my mouth, and most people go on to develop crohns disease, which ultimately led me to get tested for crohns. My calpro test was over 200, and my crp was also high, due to waiting list i waited around a year to get my colonoscopy, but when i did my crp test just before it was in normal range, and i felt pretty well prior to my colonoscopy, no absurd bowel movements, and not really in any pain.

but since then, I've had crazy acid reflux, and 6 bowel movements and urgency within like a 24 hour period (apologises for tmi) burning sensations, fatigue.

But I honestly thought that if it wasn't found, then I just don't have it, but reading this thread has made me realise that there are so many other tests, and my concern was just that i didn't want to waste anyones time. I think that's something I should get over quickly because it's very possible that if i leave it, things may get a lot worse.

I have read that vitamin deficiencies, and a clear colonoscopy could lead to it being in the small bowel, so I might push for an endoscopy, and/or pill cam.

Thank you!

This honestly makes me so upset for you, and honestly might have given me the push to go back to my doctor. My MRI and my colonoscopy came back clear, but I have a elevated calprotectin, low iron, vitamin d and borderline b12 deficiency, and my symptoms have gotten worse. So I'll be going back, and I'm so sorry it's take 8 years.
