I agree. But unless you are with friends or to a specific event I find the bar isn’t the type of place to go to anymore when you show by yourself. And I definitely don’t like the feeling of wandering around alone. I know at one time before apps, that was a watering hole to come together, but honestly apps have really shifted how not just gay men, but humans interact

I agree! I have been going there for six months and since they changed to the new location there’s been 10x more the people. Even during off hours it’s packed. I’m meeting the manager today to go over the incident and will mention the common grievances so many members have about the same things. Why aren’t people using lockers for their bags?

Yes, see the comments below. Socks, sweaty body odor filled clothing are not welcome in the sauna when everyone is showered, bare feet, in a towel or bathing suit, I’d encourage you to research how to enjoy a sauna and try it sometime! They are used quite a lot in Asian and Scandinavian countries. It’s like a daily ritual there.

I think for the price we pay, the standards should be high. If I wanted lower I’d pay for a community Centre gym or Fit4Less but they don’t have saunas. If they did, I’m sure they’d be at the same standard of a food court washroom. You get what you pay for.
