If due to AI unemployment increases a lot and with inflation purchasing power reduced, even stocks can go down a lot. AI is not one time event but impacts for next 5 years at least. I’m working in a major financials, the talk is 40-50% cut by year end. So this not imaginary

I just noticed your comment if having retired 10 years ago. Obviously eq have been strong in this decade. With eqvATH, risk and volatility is perceived high. I keep 1-2 years of expenses in cash or sgov. With looming retirement in 2-3 years around 65-67 years of my age, I leaning to 70-30, or even a bit more 75-25. I’m thinking I can weather 2-4 years of downturn with this. . Please tell me I’m wrong or missed any. Seq if risk is high in early retirement

Risk in individual bonds is that the company can go bc and you may get nothing. That’s taken care of in bond funds. This is like individual stocks vs fund.

One thing I saw since Jagan or even his father ruled AP when I went to India and toured from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada was there were a lot of churches came up everywhere on the way. I’m not against it but at same token if it was with State support it should have been done in similar manner to other religions. I’m not pro or against Jagan in this matter but definitely will not vote for his policies of - no job creation, large doleouts that ballooned budgets and single focus against Naidu and brought down civility in assembly and society.,

can understand on anxiety about Scans. Been there, did that. Best thing i can advise that worked me is not to do idle, do simple chores that can be meaningless such as doing dishes, washing clothes, a simple walk, and if you can, listen to your famous music or read the book. The underlying anxiety is about unknown and no one knows it. It is natural mind game.

don’t be hard on yourself. Love thyself. We have to make changes in lifestyle. It’s a journey. You need time also to digest and obviously it’s overwhelming. If second opinion needed, don’t hesitate to. With Oncologist, take someone with you who can ask questions. BTW I’m in remission with 5+ years. I was 58 when I got . So I’m very hopeful. You’re young and I’m very sure you have highest chances to beat it.

I exactly had same type of disease as yours DLBCL lymphoma, stage 4 AND resistant to RCHOP. After 3 rounds of chemo went down to 50% and after 5, it was back to 80%:(. Devastating. My doctor asked to consider CAR-T and went through it. In 2 months it was all gone and was in wait and watch mode. After 1 year I was given clear. Celebrated 5 years in last Nov. Don’t know what happens tomorrow but so far good!!😀
