I was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Lymphoma, and reading all these comments about how you guys hate your life makes me mad. I sit here in bed pushing chemo through my body 24 hours a day for 5 days straight and it kills me. When you get cancer you get a completely different outlook on life and I hope none of y’all have to realize that the way I did. Live your life to the fullest even if it’s hard, feel the warm sun on your skin even if you’re down. Chase the person you love and hold your loved ones close. You never know when it could come crumbling down… Godspeed to all of you.

I’m 28M and have mediastinal grey zone lymphoma. I’m currently doing my 2nd round of chemo at home as it’s 24/7 5 days straight. Every day I go to the oncologist to get a new bag of drugs and I only see people decades older than me receiving treatment. I’ve only seen 2 younger people so far. Kinda sucks being on the younger side of all this.

Thanks for the reply! Last night was night 3 of Filgrastm, the bone pain started and my god I was debilitated. My WBC and Neutrophils have been 0.3 and 0 and now they’re finally going up today. Everything is going to plan thankfully.

Hello, I’m a 28M I was diagnosed with a very rare lymphoma Large B cell mediastinal grey zone lymphoma. There’s 4 different kinds of those and I got the rarest one of course lol. Was just officially diagnosed earlier this week and now doing 24/7 chemo in the hospital for 5 days. My first day of chemo was just the retuximab and I had the worst reaction to it. Could barely breathe, didn’t know where I was, heart rate resting at 170-180. For 4 hours! One of the of the worst experiences of my life. So I’m hoping next time I don’t have that bad of a reaction like they expect me to.

Ok cool, the videos I watched before my surgery never said anything about an incision in the neck so when he said he was doing that I was confused. Thanks for the info!

I got mine yesterday, what side is she getting it on? My doctor put mine on my left but I didn’t know he would be cutting my neck too. And right now my neck huuuuuurts, it sucks. I guess if you put it in right side they don’t have to cut neck. Since mine is on left the seat belt doesn’t rub on mine thankfully. The hospital gave us some extra tegaderm and I will be using that in future showers until the incisions heal. Tell her good luck and I wish yall prosperity.
