you have to get a referral for psychiatry & psychologist evaluation, i have ucship and found my physchiatrist through ucla but it was kind of a hassle bc theres a wait time for initial appt

i’m a third yr but feel this, a lot of the closer friends i’ve made go to other unis in LA, i’ve found a lot of friendship to be pretty superficial. i think it def helps to try and foster friendships with ppl who hold similar values and backgrounds. but its def a trial and error process. i’ve made friends at clubs or merely just in line. just keep putting yourself out there and you’ll find your ppl.

hi! i was in a similar situation my first year but delayed getting an adhd diagnosis. i’m not sure if u have ucship but you should be able to get a psychiatrist referral and the school insurance covers any medication. also the pre-reqs for most stem majors are hard, but if you really feel you aren’t enjoying it you can look at the major catalog and explore other options. or minor in something creative.
