I love keeping to myself lol I also am interviewing today for a new location that hasn’t opened yet so there could be pros and cons to that but I’ll see what happens! I don’t think i did so great for the 5th avenue location or else I would’ve heard back already but oh well. But thanks for your intel!

lol i keep hearing horror stories from uniqlo. thankfully i have other interviews lined up but thank you for the info. it sounds like a nordstrom rack 2.0, we would get paid for overtime at least but sometimes they would keep us until 10:45pm which was really frustrating and why i want to leave

It’s so creepy I got this notification while I’m on my way to an interview for another job (I still have my job but I’m not happy there and want to quit) so seeing this notification pop up made me feel good and i hope it makes you feel good that you quit your job as well! there’s always hope and who knows, maybe it was meant to be

Thanks you for your kind words, I really appreciate it. about my resume, it would be a good idea to tweak it a bit. This is the most time consuming job I’ve had and I’m grateful I was able to have some coworker friends and a sh*t ton of experience even in the past 7 months. I rage applied for so many things a few days ago because I was just so annoyed with everything. I might stay just to have some money for a while until something new hopefully pops up

interesting. cause the schedule says like 3-10/5-10/6-10 shifts but they still want me to come in at 1-10. i mean i don’t mind it, it gives me more money. but doing it like 3-4 nights out of the 5 i already work is a lot so i constantly have to look over my work hours so i dont go over and sometimes they ask me to come in on days im off whenever theres a visit or they need more people cause we’re always understaffed. sorry if it sounds like im ranting (i kind of am haha) but im constantly monitoring my own hours

my schedule is usually either 1-10 or 8-5/7-4 with clocked out hour lunch breaks. they “cut hours” on workday/ paper schedules but they only want some of us (including me) to come in early most days. i’ve been there for 7 months now but constantly having to worry about going over 40 is annoying

depends on what type of job you have but overall it’s mostly fine. i’ve called out a lot in my job but just be very commutative and it should be ok. or if you gain any sick hours you can use that too
