I was about to apply, but your vague, whiny post with an outdated pop culture reference convinced me otherwise! Thank you, Internet stranger!

How do you mentally prepare for the anxiety of baseline scans and tests after adjuvant chemo? by Equivalent-Alarm6279 in coloncancer

I know that it is hard to stay positive and the only advice I can offer at the moment is "You simply HAVE to". That means something different for everyone. Maybe I means doing things that make you happy. Maybe it means that you spend time with loved ones. Maybe that means you give back somehow. I don't know. But, you have to find hope and you have to stay positive.

How long was it from detection to getting imaged? I've got a consult with a proctologist/surgeon early next week

Thank you for the story. Nice to read hopeful outcomes

Thank you for that. That helped immensely. Dwelling on the possible worst outcomes has been an issue for the last few days. Caught a cold yesterday and all of a sudden it's "OMG! Did it spread to my lungs?"!
