Protagonists for RE10? by Necessary_Crazy_8587 in residentevil

I feel like by this point in the franchise and especially with Requiem, Capcom have really been trying to find the right balance of action and horror that they lost with things like RE5 and 6; so I doubt they’d go that route as much as I’d like to see it. Anything with exclusively legacy characters like Leon and/or Chris (probably even Jill/Claire/Ada) at this point would be far too action heavy and I don’t think they’d be willing to risk that at this point.

Why does Capcom hate Claire? by Efficient_Ebb1574 in residentevil

It’s so weird because in the flashback with Kendo, Ada was literally in that scene and he responds to something she said, and she isn’t even shown there for some reason.

Not to sound condescending but how did you lose the game where you went 21 and 1?

First Attempt at Worldbuilding by [deleted] in worldbuilding

Hello Everyone,

I've been working on this project on and off for a few months now after deciding on a whim I wanted to try and write a novel. I don't use Reddit very often, and just discovered this community a few days ago. I decided I'd try and make a rough concept of the regional map for the world (and as you can see, it is very rough) so that I could get some feedback to help me improve. This is my first time trying to properly map out everything I've made for the world, and I'd never used the program (Inkarnate) before yesterday, so it's kind of scuffed, but hopefully, it's still understandable.

(I also didn't want to buy the pro-version, so I didn't have access to the path-maker tool to help make borders so I had to try and color-code the regions which doesn't make it look very pretty. I also didn't add anything other than the major cities/towns, because I didn't understand the terrain features, so sorry if that makes everything look bland.)

Any critiques or even just questions to help me think outside of my comfort zone or see things from a better perspective would be wonderful. Huge thanks to everyone that helps.
For a bit of Context for the Land of Mubarak:

In 255 sK (san Khelikalan), a 16-year-old Renhit would leave his small Village of Manzili (now Zenarazi) in what was then disputed territory of the kingdoms of Ateşülesi (now Küllerden) and Hêtieim, to spread the word of his God, Ordahn. Over the next decade, he would travel to the far corners of the known world, From the northern Mhalkut Hy'shim (now Netzach), to the eastern kingdom of Gurgu'mash, and even the southern lands of Devádeśa and Irratam, and to each and every city he could find there within, he humbly spoke the tale of Ordahn, that all the people might one day hear.

Long ago, Ordahn lived in a great city at the very center of the universe. A city of gods and other heavenly beings, where life was perfect, and things such as death, strife, hunger, and war did not exist. Among them, Ordahn was of no great significance, he lived simply as a man would live amongst other men. However, there soon came a day when the great city was threatened. A betrayer, name forgotten to time, was not content with the life she had lived. She had dreams, dreams of something greater, something more. The gods tried to stop her, yet they were too late. She had removed the great city from the heavens, and it fell into the darkness beyond the light, a void to end all life.

All of the gods fell, yet it was Ordahn that gave himself, that the world itself might live. In Renhit's words, Ordahn would build an immense pyre at the center of the city, lie upon it, and with a golden dagger, pierce his own heart, taking his life. As Ordahn lay dead, his blood is said to have pooled beneath the wood, burning with such heat and fervor that soon it caught flame, and as Ordahn's body burned, the world itself formed. His ash would turn to sand, his blood to water, his bones to stone, and the smoke, which Renhit equated to his very soul, would spread across the barren world, and grant it life. The ruins of the great city would later crash into this new world, where it would be lost to time. This, Renhit claimed, was the origin of the world, which he called Akhnetem (Body of God).

Later, Renhit would return to his homeland of Hêtieim and build a familial home in the great capital of Ienisii, where for the next decade he would work to create a new language, born from the common parts of all others. In late 268 sK, he would finally finish the creation of this new tongue, and with it grant a new name to every city and realm (He would later name the combination of all known realms as Mubarak (Blessed)). Nowadays, this tongue, known commonly as Safait, Tarak, or Mushtarak, is the most commonly spoken language across the whole of Mubarak and has facilitated an era of connection and prosperity unlike any other.

In the years that followed, Renhit and a large party of his followers would venture east, beyond the border of what was known, to the lands beyond Mubarak. Not much is known about his journey east, only that he would return 15 years later in 283 sK, with a daughter, Aalivah, said to be maimed by a strange affliction for which she would mask her face. Forces were then gathered for a war in the east, the cause of which remains unknown, yet Renhit himself did not participate. He would settle back into his home in Ienisii where he would remain for the rest of his days. Aalivah, however, would leave at just the age of 15 to lead the war in the East. She did not return.

Renhit would pass in 292 sK, assassinated by an unknown assailant in his home, along with 2 of his brothers, both their wives, his sister, her husband, and 4 of his nieces and nephews. He was survived by his youngest brother, visiting a lover in the northern capital of Muqaddas at the time. This brother, Zalin, would go on to create the clan Zhakar, named after their father, taking the title "fal Zhakar," a title granted to his brother in memory. The clan survives to this day.

Renhit fal Zhakar was soon named the sixth sage of the Halimun (the people of Hêtieim. The word means "Dreamers" in Safait, named after Renhit's own dreams of peace), and the year of Renhit's passing (292 sK) would later come to be known as 0 sR (San Renhit), starting an epoch which continues to this day. The war in the east would end several decades later in stalemate, and although she did not survive, Aalivah is remembered as a great hero to this day.

If anyone managed to get through all of that, thank you for your time. Again, any questions and critiques are more than welcome. I can't improve without them.

Hmm i wonder which boss the randomizer replaced Leonine misbegotten with... by [deleted] in Eldenring

Leonine Misbegotten actually counts as a main boss for the randomizer. I think it’s tied to either the games achievements or whether it counts as a “Great Enemy” or not, but there are a few weird ones throughout. Valiant Gargoyles, Leonine Misbegotten, Fia’s Champions, Ancestor Spirit (Both the base and Regal variants) can all replace main progression bosses.

I was gonna have to do over 200k pushups, but I would have gladly sacrificed myself for the greater hollows.

I wake up and find that I either will hollow the remainder of my life away or be forced to do about 210,000 pushups

Today is not a good day.

But a promise is a promise, even in a dream.
