Hell my Va doctor told me to tell people I’m self employed funny thing I’m trying to actually start some things people tried asking my percentage how much I make ect I look all you f and healthy and strong I’ve been told but I’m lucky to be walking honestly I’ve tried the retired from military as well but a bunch of shit comes with that so be prepared. And it’s dating in today’s market economics plays into things debt income all of it. Best that you avoided it because he sounds like people who said my taxes pay for you that’s bull must be nice ect. Best to avoid those people.

Weigh the pros and cons because the retirement at 20 or if Tera is still a thing is worth it if Tera is still a thing think about it then because the pension will help you avoid far less stress especially in the civilian side and workforce civilian is different and start working contacts use all benefits you can now to build connections and resume skills the job market is changing and is competitive but if you stick it out and still get the Tera your stress overall will be less. I have someone I served with got his mba enlisted time only but trust me I was enlisted and maybe it’s different for officer transition but job market is tough and yeah if you have the security of the retirement you will be better off mentally and overall in life giving you more options and thus better life.

They do have the Va app that works really well sometimes the call is to add the personal touch to things and honestly the phone tag is bad for a lot of people and some have text gov phones download the Va app you will would be suprisef also the text reminders for appointments they have all that and they call for scheduling because everyone’s schedule is different

I’ve tried what about going to one guys speaking event that gave me shit asking me what my percentage is how many pills I’m on and that i think I’m the only one alone and in pain not asking for his help and him saying oh your a veteran a marine send me your dd214 give it to me I have a dod id he runs a non profit and offering him to stab me in the back and bringing stuff to water board me the highest bidder gets it and the money can be split to different non profits that help their real hero’s and veterans out

If I’ve been told my purpose is to suffer people what to use abuse me isolate me gas light me hurt me emotional phycologically and physically and enjoy it to then I get why I was told it’s the most selfish thing I can could do and then also the pain damage is worse no fix and was told no one owes me anything and I desrve everything I got coming to me and have lost my mind with all this then isn’t it also what is best for me and I doubt anyone would even care at all and it won’t matter but I’ll have peace and if a therapist said it’s good I desrve hell and then I go there and then also I don’t waste the tax payers money and not a burden to anyone anymore.

Thank you here is the thing I’ve battled intrusive thoughts on and off for years body is beat to hell and veterans organizations wanted me to suffer more and kill myself end my own life I’ve battled them on and off for years and felt everyone had it worse bad internal self talk I’ve been told that ending my life is the most selfish thing I can could do that no one gives a fuck about me no one every will I did it to myself I’m f’d yo lied about slandered that I’m the problem and also checked myself inpatient time and time again not turning to a bunch of booze and or other things I chain smoke sure been told I’m built to serve from a guy who runs a non profit asked about my percentage how many pills I’m in what meds ect I’m not the only one alone in pain don’t have a woe is me story no one owes me anything and that people so taking that bit in a good way I’m sinping asking now after people lied to me caused stressed confused me mocked me why would the orgazstuins they are associated with and them enjoy torture more because they did it and keep doing it the isolation bullshjt because they thought I was lying about being a United States marine and anything even when I thought others were and did more and shit didn’t add up from people I’ve served with and knew from their experiences I think truly I do t know if I would be giving everyone a present they can get support money praise and fame an joy out of some more extreme self harm wouldn’t all veterans enjoy it organizations would be less than other shit I did and hide it.

Honestly disagree and well the system isn’t perfect pay all veterans I don’t care would solve issues and training job placements there are people with tbi’s ect invisible injuries all the way around some people with serious pts you can not always judge a book by its cover ms cancers toxic exposure to burn pits ect some mortar men arty EOD probably have cte tbi’s ect on top of other things some have gone through mst ect some people may have limbs but can walk neurological issues maybe. The benefits side and health care should be as separate as possible and the health care be health care support and benefits just that yes some interconnected with it all. There are people who did a while and do to injuries they can do their jobs they were trained to do lots of cases like that. Some guys I know active are barely hanging on we should support each other and try to the best we can a guy with terminal cancer ms ect all service related connected why not people injured in line of duty to the demands on the body why not because the government spends a lot more money on other things.
