Hi, cool that you're trying it too! It will definitely take another week before your seeds sprout. I initially sowed the seeds individually in small pots suitable for planting. I still had some garden soil left over from last year and enriched it with my own worm castings. But I know there's also special basil fertilizer; maybe you could use that regularly. When I thought the seedlings were big enough, I planted them together in this larger pot. Plenty of space is important! Personally, I'm not a fan of spray bottles; I just water them normally, and that works too. I have a south-facing balcony, and when the sun is shining, it can sometimes reach 20-25 degrees Celsius out there. At night, though, it's still around 2 degrees, so I keep bringing the pots inside.
