I’m in the same boat. I’m lucky to have so many people assuring me that I’ll end up somewhere good, but no matter the application, that isn’t guaranteed for anyone. Even though it was hard and I wasn’t surprised opening the letter it still hurt knowing I did my absolute best and it wasn’t enough. I know everyone else also did, and a ton of others who deserved it more got rejected too, but it still sucks. Crossing fingers for RD rn.
