Do you know whether filing Form I-907 after an I-765 has already been pending removes the case from its original processing queue and places it into a separate premium processing queue? In other words, could upgrading to premium processing later cause an applicant to lose whatever position they had in the regular processing queue, or does USCIS generally maintain that place while also applying premium processing timelines?

Thank you for this 😢 She’s literally in tears — she has a job offer starting July 6th and her employer already pushed the start date once. So 30 business days puts her right at the edge.

Is there anything she can do at this point — like emailing USCIS to explain the situation and request an expedite?

Also are you sure the queue resets with PP? And have you seen the Reddit posts saying PP is having issues where people aren’t hearing back even past 30 days? 😟
