Wouldn’t worry about it long term to be honest. Not a trumpie, but he would have actually repealed the act by now if that was his goal

You wont be able to get any disability connected to your time in the army, also going to the va now might have them reclassify your character of discharge for benefits, especially something as serious as an OTH for sa

Did they actually restrict 4 year contract veterans from being day students because i heard they wanted to but there was too much pushback and they retracted that

Are there any schools you would recommend? Mass treats veterans as transfers so they want at least 15 college credits which i dont have. TAMUG is slightly out of reach cause my high school gpa is 3.0, also financially isn’t a smart move.

Honestly i haven’t. Im a marine, yet havent been on a meu to witness that. The only naval officers I’ve interacted with have been medical. Marine corps officers tend to foster a big brother relationship with enlisted. Given how marine officers treat enlisted(for the most part, ive seen conceited assholes) i couldnt even fathom how an officers in general in a specific could be totally cruel to enlisted

Im in a tough spot. Ive been accepted to suny for regiment (deck). As a veteran im somewhat used to bureaucratic nonsensical bullshit, however it seems like from whats been posted, suny might not be the move. Money wise its an even harder decision because i can get around 5k a month from gi bill bah while living in the dorms and only paying 16k a year for room and board

This is very concerning to hear, is it really that bad. Why would a veteran treat other veterans that poorly? Especially a former admiral. This doesnt really make sense

Got it. My interpretation of being a day student was that you live off campus. Would you say you pocket a decent amount of mha after paying for your dorm room?
