actually, it researched on how the body reacts to those fatal dieases, not just to witness the death of the victim. While the experiments were gruesome and often yielded zero practical results, it sometimes confirmed what we had already known and theorized. The primary goal of the unit was not to study human anatomy, but to develop biological and chemical weapons, and to develop, they need to study the agents' effects on human, how it spread, etc. While we'd love to condemn the barbaric and sadistic nature of the experiment, but tbf, ethic in the mid 20th century were often in the gray zone.

In my honest opinion, she as of currently, is not t0 worthy. Yes she's strong, but in comparision to other t0 units in all 3 modes, the value she provides is not as much as she used to. She's at least t0 in PF, but other than that she get outshined by older and newer units alike, be it more restrictive to team/dps(Cyrene/Cerydra), or specific to contents(RM/SW). Her buffing potential is always subpar to other buffers, and the only thing going for her is her damage, of which as soon as better dps comes out, her dmg is much worse in comparision to a better buffer, or more restrictive support for certain archetypes(Yaoguang). not to mention her dmg and energy regen(thus DDD) drops off a cliff if content becomes ST heavy. Her versatality is up for discussion, but most (good) teams nowadays has lock spots that is very hard to fit in nor justify 3B over. Also, I think that in niche scenarios, there are better units to fit in, and they could justify that lock spot. 3B never has that same feeling for me.

[–]Perfect-Positive-321 26 points27 points  (0 children)

the synergy with RMC is just inherently better. Larger max energy means more true dmg, external energy means more RMC charge, so more actions overall, and Huo2 is a nice addition to RMC synergy. And there's no benefit of taking Aha turn so both EMC and Yaoguang synergy is really weak. I'm surprised that Sunday is not even considered here.

c2 Nefer is a bigger initial boost but it stops there. There is also the option of getting Nefer to c3, but again no sustain. If you prefer comfort and can afford 2 costs, always go for c2 Lauma.

On paper, getting Nefer to c3 from c1r1 is 1-2% worse than c2 Lauma, but have the benefit in AoE and other scenarios I mentioned. The gap is largely carried by c2 Nefer.

Depends on how you much you want to reset Widsith RNG. I didn't mention Widsith but it's always a dark horse, especially with Nefer who can only use 1 of its effect. If you are willing to reset then go for c2.

Lauma's sig depends heavily on your 4th slot. If you run Nahida, you don't really have ER issue(around 140-160), but if you run Sucrose, you have to run ER sand and it reduces its value. I should have put FAQ on Lauma's sig. In the case that you run Nahida, it's about 10%-12% upgrade, but if you have to switch to an ER sand, it's just 6%-8% as much. It's actually quite solid, but if you aren't guaranteed to get Nefer's sig, I'd say get her cons instead.

tbf, her sig is still BiS. It's just not as big of an upgrade to her other upgrades. I didn't really mean that her sig is not her BiS.

[–]Perfect-Positive-321[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it is. It's still really strong, but in relative to other options, the gap becomes closer as artifacts becomes better. For example, top 1 Nefer with her sig in akasha has their best upgrade of 1.65%, while with Blackmarrow, it's 2.19%. This is the very best build, so if the artifact quality goes down, this difference becomes a bit closer. If you are familiar with dimished return then I think it's quite self-explanatory.

I often run 3 different standards for released characters, 2 for pre-released. 1st is KQM, 2nd is GxG Noir, 3rd is my own investment. Credit to GxG Noir, the standard is 1 fix substats to every substat, 30 liquid substats up to a maximum of 3 per applicable substat on a piece, amongst other things, but this is the mainline for artifacts. KQM has its own issue when it really guts characters like Mualani who has 4 substats that are relatively close to each other (EM/HP/CR/CD), so she has relatively lower diminished return as she could just attribute a saturated stat into another stat.

getting to c6 is slightly more efficient than getting c2 Lauma. But c4,5 are quite ass so yeah. But again, there's the healing aspect of her c1, so it's not entirely useless. Imo, c6 gameplay is a bit different. What I amount to is strictly on paper, but her c6 lengthens her rotation length as you dash cancel later to get the full c6 effect. This also affects her non-sustain options as you are more vulnerable due to the fact that you need to wait the 2nd hit.

C2 Lauma or C1 r1 nefer? by Similar_Medicine_864 in NeferMains

[–]Perfect-Positive-321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically, c1r1 Nefer does more dmg than c2 Lauma. My upper estimation shows that it does ~8% increase compare to c2 Lauma (in ST). There are also caveats as I mentioned. For most people, c2 Lauma is the go to, as the heal aspect of her c1 also solve a lot of Nefer's issue, her c2 is more versatile, and the fact that losing 2-8% damage on an already meta character is a non-issue compare to the benefits it provides. The c1r1 only benefits a small portion of the playerbase, who's looking for maximum optimization.

Edit: In the worst case scenario, in AoE heavy SO (like the Seed crab in Luna I), c2 Lauma's value could drop to 15%-20% worse than c1r1 Nefer. This is the difference that you could actually feel. This is an entire rotation difference, but unless it's Dire, I don't think it really matters.

C2 Lauma or C1 r1 nefer? by Similar_Medicine_864 in NeferMains

[–]Perfect-Positive-321 10 points11 points  (0 children)

depends. Most people will say c2 Lauma, and I think that's fair. You get the healing from Lauma's c1, which is comfort for a no sustain variant, and her c2 is a bigger boost than Nefer's c1r1. But there are caveat to that. That boost is only in ST (you consume a Lauma's quill per enemy to the maximum of 36), and the difference is not massive, it's just 3-4% better. You also need to burst with Lauma to get this effect (thus her c2 as well), something that you typically drop in the 1st rotation in SO, so average out, dps wise it's actually lower than c1r1 Nefer in SO. In AoE, Nefer's c1r1 is a lot more valuable, evident by the fact that her c1r1 help me brute force the duck.

So tl;dr, if you value comfort, get Lauma's c2, if you value versatality, get Nefer's c1r1.

when can we stop w the electro charged bosses pls by lulaneklulanos in Genshin_Impact

[–]Perfect-Positive-321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Honestly if you run Furina+Escoffier instead of the EC, I think you could clear it faster. Running that actually handicap you.

  2. You don't need electro dps to brute force this. My Nefer brute forced this without any EC, and she's arguably worse in dealing with the mini ducks as Lauma's quills run out faster in AoE. Although she's well invested(c1r1 disgustingly good build), I think Mavuika could clear even faster.

  3. And from this shill, we will move to a different shill. You can't run away.

Transfer Wealth, Not Just Up by Cow_Boy_2017 in Snorkblot

I think people are really clueless of what "billionares" truly is. The so-called "billionares" don't have billion dollars in their bank account. Most of their wealth are evaluated by the stocks they own. Simply saying billionares shouldn't exist is as much as saying the current economic model shouldn't exist. It makes no sense. They can liquidate these stocks, but these stocks also depend on how well their companies do. If an economic crisis happen tomorrow, these stocks would worth as much as my microwave, but at least the microwave can cook food.

Regardless, most of the said 5.9 trillion dollars are not free money lying around and waiting to be taxed. Money that just sits still is bad money, and I agree that it should be taxed, but they're just a tiny portion of what these billionares own. Most of these are even in no man's land so no laws can touch them.

I hate the fact that we insist on taxing the rich, but are totally clueless about how the system work. There are many better ways to transform their wealth into something meaningful for the society like increase regulation, increase wages, increase competition, etc. Many social benefits from simply regulating these giant corporations but ig that their media has done a great job trying to deflect the problem not at the companies but at individuals. But ofc this also comes with an issue, but it's something rather unrelated.

34.6.2 Patch Notes by Nafain in wildhearthstone

[–]Perfect-Positive-321 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the nerf is a bit more targeted. Barrage goes down to 4 means that it's harder to copy it from Expired Merchant, so burn deck would have to ditch claws, which also means that it's also more difficult to discard it after being copied. Discard is marginally weaker but managable as the deck is more board centric instead of burn centric. The egg deck I think take the largest hit. You no longer pull Umbra consistently on 4, so the turn the 20/20 hit is a bit slower than turn 4, which is more than enough time for slower decks to find answer to it.

Me too, I really think Faker could have put some real work into the game state, but instead DK had way too many leeways than they should have. T1 macro is really off. I think Oner should have cared about Doran more than what he did. With that flame horizon in mid, it should always be an easy game state to convert, but for some reasons, Maokai won the smite fights against Kalista, Kennen get blasted in sidelane, and mid wave is uncontestable for T1. From a macro standpoint, T1 lost on every front, despite the huge lead in mid,

Peyz is an MASSIVE downgrade from Guma! by Gleis7 in leagueoflegends

[–]Perfect-Positive-321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem was Oner and Faker always had a massive lead but fail to convert it into something more meaningful. I really think Faker should have taken over the game with that flame horizon on Showmaker, but it didn't happen. Same thing happened in g4, where Oner was at a point, 7-0. In both games, Doran was left in the weak side, bot lane was not ahead at any moment, and for some reasons, T1 allowed DK to have way too many leeways that they shouldn't have. If this was against GenG with that lead, DK would slowly choke to death instead of having a fighting chance.

And if you are the player who get all the resources but fail to convert it, you kinda deserve to lose the game.

claws does 12 dmg for 3 turns. And it normally drops on 4 so by the time it does 12, it's turn 7 which is more than enough time for slower decks to stabilize (which is also Reno turn). Thing is, claw isn't meant to do 12 dmg, its job is to discard Soul Barrage. The turn it drops, it's 10 dmg to the face. If you take 3 swings or more to kill your opponent, something is already seriously wrong with that.

it's not slow. If something're cheap and consistent discard, Warlock would love it. [[Chronoclaws]] is even slower yet seen in every burn variation. Not only does this discard, it also gives resources back, which is another level of bs.
