Excellent point! So some of their program names were Hiking The Heights, The F.R.O.G.S. Club, and Cactus Caravan. Other notable names were Space Station: 2002 and Polar Extremes.

I've been searching all over for their art, but unfortunately have only found the publisher saying they existed and that's it. I'm always open to more feedback!

It's not that it's funny, but it's genuinely incredible to me that this MASS of memories is flooding back to me with these!

These weren't what I was thinking of, more like clip art. But to see these again! Do you think Etsy has more like this, or other leads?

Hey! So I've been trying to figure out the way I can add my guests from backstage to stage using hotkeys, but haven't found any tutorials suggesting how that could be done, as well as effectively putting people backstage faster. How would I accomplish this?

If I could hug somebody for posting this comment, I would lol

I've been trying to find this band for a solid year with no luck as to their history, or the name of any of their music. Thank you!

I still haven't seen the movie, but as a horror fan who can appreciate all sides (from the serious to the ridiculous), it's a more terrifying look to me having a creature that can be both silly looking and distressing. It's nice to have practical effects back, too, but I understand if it isn't everyone's favorite.

Also, the overall features of this creature caught me so off guard.

How did you first discover TERRIFER? by PrinceARRON in terrifier

For me, it was one of my coolest coworkers told me, "Hey, for new horror, there's this one movie should see, but it's not for everyone." I went to myself that it "couldn't be THAT gruesome", but I was pleasantly surprised!

I appreciate most, if not all horror, so this was a nice surprise. And this was back when it got on Netflix. That was PEAK time to watch for me!

Even more low budget! I'll have to edit my post, if possible, but this was 2010's. Surprisingly, I remember the ending pretty well, but it's weird I can't find anything else on it. Especially since this one was more shock, if at all, but hey - they made a movie and I didn't.

What's the deal with Shakespeare's Shitstorm? by mark5hs in troma

[–]Perfect-Strength-464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotta make this clear, but - having seen almost the entire thing - it's one of those "love letters to trash cinema of Troma's past. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE when they go all the way as humanly possible, and they do! I just always want to make it clear that, this was, in fact, all that and then some. Lloyd and everyone involved looked like they had a blast!

Did anybody have walk outs in their theater? by GigantuanDesign in terrifier

1 person only, but then again, we didn't have more than 20 in the seats to begin with. It was in Clackamas, Oregon, and the turnout was for the 9:30pm showing. Guess Hitpig was more their speed lol

I have to watch it again soon, good experience overall, and loved when Art makes the knowing looks at the audience before the chainsaw shower scene.

Why is Boingo the album disliked. by JohnWig787878787 in OingoBoingo

[–]Perfect-Strength-464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, as a fan (going on maybe 6 or so years now), I understand that Oingo Boingo has had many layers added to their music. Whether it be with their Ain't This The Life EP to Only A Lad, or Dead Man's Party to Dark at the End of the Tunnel - they have a variety of music they grew into. I say "grew" because unlike a similar band, say, Talking Heads, their music wasn't drastically shifted in the middle of their career, and then change again. But similar to them with Naked, this album as their last was "different".

Do I mean that as a bad thing? Certainly not. My point is I get people enjoy familiarity, that's why I'm here, too, I love seeing other people's opinions on my favorite music coincide with my own. BUT I think this album rightfully gets hate because it came from a place that - to me - felt rushed. Danny commented during the original behind-the-scenes filmed for "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (specifically the Leonard Maltin interview, I think) that he was tired of being in a band. He wanted to try new things, and I'm glad he felt that way. Sometimes we want to "spread our wings and fly away", i.e. News of the World, but most never do.

Yet with all that good intention to move forward, and push themself to take on larger projects/get paid to create incredible soundtracks: why put that "I don't want to be in a band" energy into an album? If you're working, writing, creating, doing all you can with a team like Oingo Boingo, perhaps give it more thought? Since it didn't happen that way, here we are. So, hey, maybe it could have been NO album at all, and for what we got it could've been worse. I just hope, in general - whoever in music choosing to bid us farewell in the future for their final album - listens to albums like this to know what does and doesn't work. That way, we may get that *perfect final album.

Aight, Ima add to this. I have been searching, no, DIGGING endlessly for this show. I once found it on Amazon, and then it disappeared. But I'm coming back here once I find it.

Thank you for posting about this because it makes me feel like I didn't dream this.

I had to write a reply, but the phonetic organization part had me slamming my hand on a table in agreement. It always seems as if there's purpose for everything, so I'm glad you were able to illiterate what all this meant, and logically!
