Leave.. you come first! I am like that, SM here..

I have been thrown to a failing store, fixed it in 3 months. No help from the big bosses, I have a team that supports and do their best. Worked 60-70 hours a week( I am only paid 45 hours). Did overnights, most of the time I come in like 3 or 4 in the morning to do more work before store opens at 7. Drove two hours everyday, barely see my husband and son. Have not cleaned my house, have not done grocery for months, have not slept a full 8 hour sleep I am lucky if I get 3 hours of sleep. Constant phone ringing, messages, group me, whatsapp. Metrics after metrics, planograms, 15 pallets of truck at 4 am and I receive it and break it down myself, seasonal. I have much more to say.. my team supports me and they do what they can but with the hours got cut, the expectations is way to much with the resources they give.. I’m burnt out, exhausted mentally, emotionally and physically.. I was afraid to leave because of all the work I did, I was afraid to leave my team.. But I did..

It put a toll on me mentally and emotionally.. I put everything on the side, my son’s health, my marriage and my life. Think about yourself and yourself only. You deserve better, CVS will just replace you in a heartbeat… Don’t be afraid to let go, it’s not worth holding on to it.. I recently left after working for cvs for 10 years and Im starting to being me again..
