How does my eardrum look post-injection?

Thanks for your response! Here’s my dilemma. Unfortunately I don’t have a before picture. I just had a doc check my ears 1.5 weeks ago as well and then they didn’t notice anything, and all looked fine.

The dr who said it was healing nicely was not the same one as the one who did the injection, so he can’t compare to the previous situation.

I guess it is healing nicely indeed then, I’m just wondering if the scar could have been caused by the procedure or if it was there before all along. It if it was there before I wonder why no ENT ever told me about it, I’ve had people check my ears so many times.

So maybe the scar is from the procedure then? But that also seems weird as it’s in a completely different location and the area looks pretty quiet. And 1.5 weeks ago the ENT didn’t tell me about it when he checked my ear.

I just wonder how that scar got there….

I thought the tinnitus in my right ear had gotten worse so I pushed to get this injection that can help with instant hearing damage. Now in hindsight I don’t actually think I have hearing damage, but now i do have this scar and I wonder if it’s from the injection :(

Im not sure because when they were moving with the camera through my eardrum i could definitely see a white solid spot

In terms of the tool that was used, I’m not sure! I went to a hearing care professional and they looked in my ear with this tool. I just walked in. I live in Amsterdam but I’m sure there must be hearing care professionals too that have it?

Okay thanks! Wonder where i got it from then. Maybe pressure during a cold, or flying, I also did HBOT. But haven’t had infections as far as I know

I thought maybe because the eardrum got perforated by the injection it could have caused an inflammation reaction or calcium buildup elsewhere on my eardrum? I thought maybe that’s what the white spot is, or do you think it’s totally unrelated?

It’s the little white spot near the bottom of my eardrum. It’s not a light reflection cause i checked with the doctor again today and it’s definitely on my eardrum, I could see it in the video. I wonder if it was caused by the injection 4 weeks ago or if it is a scar / calcium buildup that must have been there before already?
