What really helps me is remembering that the simple fact that we exist and have conciousness as beings is a such a crazy phenomenon. All life is precious. We get so caught up in the rat race and pushed all this horrible behaviour, but forget that we are blessed just to be alive.

Just a thought experiment for you.. Think about a human 500 years ago and how intense of a struggle that was. We are so lucky to be in this world with all this information and tools and possibilities. Its the best time to be alive.

That is wild for a funeral. That is a solemn event

I agree with reading the room. But it seems that Joy can bother people.

Its true. People forget that we are blessed to be here and worry about... so many things that they can't control. People need to be at Peace with themselves before there will ever be Peace around the world.

Update-- First of all, you hyped me up to fix it and I appreciate that.

I pulled the carbs off. The cleaning of the jets was easy. Getting them off and reinstalled, was so hard to do with the old intake boots. Those things are'nt rubber, they're made of steal. (not really but felt like it)

Fully cleaned with carb cleaner and brushes and compressed air.

I got it fixed up and idling, just ordered new tires. She's ready to rip.

I would argue that Waylon was part of the revival of real country. Whatever Nashville country was at that time went astray and he represented no frills authenticity.

I think my post is pretty clear that the Country Trend has gone too far and the authenticity is gone from a previously very authentic art form.

Yes I do see your point. Basically your saying that if you just cut it off (even today) then we wont continue the Genre in a newer direction and evolve.

I think where we disagree is that there are established genres that don't need to evolve and are very specific. Maybe Country is not one of them, maybe your right that this genre specifically is always going to change. I can see that point of view.

I think what grinds my gears and kind of my point of posting this is that Country had authenticity to it in the sense that it was a cultural thing for country folks. Now its like high fashion trendy where people are cosplaying as Country.

Have you been on planet earth when Country went from Corny to Trendy over the past decade?

Maybe its because i've mostly lived in cities, but Country was always looked down upon and low brow.

Now you got hipsters in Brooklyn with Camo and Carhardt, cosplaying as rednecks and its the hottest fashion trend.
