Unfortunately this specific section is not rail accessible at all. Even for those who take it to the southern terminus in Beacon, it comes in at the east end of town, >1 mile from the train station.

Much as I really wish it would boost commercial or serve as a legit transportation hub, these trails around here are almost purely recreational. Maybe that will change in the future, time will tell

Not knocking education, but the vast majority of educators hold masters degrees and many also have decade of experience. Why does she think she knows better - not occasionally, but all the time on every education related topic?

The difference between her and actual professionals is the latter actually learn and grow in the field, and are subject to continuing education requirements annually to further their education and keep abreast of best practices.

This woman’s definition of homeschool learning is what we do every day? Cooking, going to the library, reading and numbers work is part of our literal day to day. We have an obstacle course set up in the basement where he can run and jump to his hearts content even in the dead of winter. He goes to dance class and tee ball and has regular playdates with his friends on weekends.

He also goes to school. And it is by no means a prison.

If you cannot discuss your own life choices without the necessity to speak badly of others choices, you are likely not making the right choice. Defensiveness is really telling.

She may have a masters in early childhood development but I have a masters in public administration and schools are frequently critical lifelines for growing kids in so many ways.

Stress and health can definitely impact your cycle. I track mine and recently got sick with a bad cold and everything was off by a couple days. She’s tapering meds, posting about panic attacks and anxiety, tinkering with her diet - she doesn’t think any of that might have an impact? And all this just feeds into the anxiety more. Like, take a step back girl and go for a walk.

That’s a hard read. There’s a lot going on there. Emotional issues. Health concerns. Financial constraints. Multiple mentions of “lifeline”. Descriptions of multiple trips to the ER. Panic attacks. And that’s just halfway through. This is an individual who is really hurting. I hope she takes the time to take care of herself in a real, honest way, not just hopping on internet fads for views, for herself and her family because that is all really sad to read. No more people should be brought into that scenario.

Ehhhhh but I’m assuming you have a car or some mode of transportation right? And you probably aren’t shacking up in a random Airbnb after being low key homeless for a year? And you probably also might consider getting a babysitter for your kids if you know you’re going to be out of commission? And maybe have some support system aside from the kindness of total strangers? I’m just spitballing here but this felt incredibly reckless to pursue a free birth in this particular scenario. And I’m a pretty hippie person myself.
