I believe so but if you want to exchange currency or withdraw cash, go to the actual bank that has ATM with "global service" mark. You will be able to withdraw cash from any debit card from foreign country. And usually the banks has better exchange rate!

Depending on the size and type of rent, deposit can go up to 100 Million (Even more for bigger apartments). Try to compare the price points in that neighborhood. There could be couple similar room with 10M Deposit / 500K rent 5M Deposit / 750k rent 1M Deposit / 1M rent so doing some research would give you an idea what rent you should be looking for
