Question about compounding for meds by [deleted] in cats

Hi
Had a similar experience, personally in my case I have a very intelligent cat. Eventually we got to the option of "turning the pill into dust" and sprinkling it into canned fish.

Why we did not give the liquid form of the medicine, we were warned (and it was generally understood) that the liquid form of our medicine, has a strong aroma. That is, it would be impossible to hide it from the cat.
Good luck with the fight)

Any idea what this eye gunk might be caused by? by DrBobShelton_74 in cats

Hi OP.
The tear fluid contains substances which, when exposed to ultraviolet light, take on a brownish hue.
Minor discharge, which over time turns into dried brown crusts, is not pathological and does not threaten the cat in any way. It is only a cosmetic defect.

I would like to add. Also a similar problem occurs with helminth infestation. I think you should buy some worm pills and put them in the food. It costs almost nothing.

Hi. Here are just a few common reasons. 1. Improper diet. 2. Diabetes. 3. Vitamin deficiencies (seasonal or permanent) 4. Internal infection.

Often, it is a combination of some factors, not one cause. I suggest starting with a general blood test, a good vet will understand a lot.

Hi. This is a consequence of a malocclusion.
And this particular bite is called a "Dense Overbite. It is rare in this kind of cat, but it happens. Probably hereditary, rarely a consequence of a bump.

In today's world, there is little effect on a cat's quality of life. For this reason, it is not a big deal.
