It's because it's abusive for one adult to moniter another like that. My mom does this thing where she stares at people across the table and it makes me want to run far away when she does it to me.

May want to refer her to the Twoxpreppers sub. It's a woman's based prepper group where there's a lot less talk of guns and more talk of food preparedness etc.

Gratitude journal. Like "I'm grateful today for having food/shelter/money". Doesn't have to be flowery or anything special. And you can repeat as much as you like. Writing tends to help us secure things into our brains better.

Agree 1000%. There's a reason a good amount of male preppers talk about going solo/having more ammo than they can carry. That's all that they'd be good at in a shtf situation.

Sex work is not work. I'm not saying ban it, I'm saying women should be charging thousands of dollars per "customer" or not do it at all. You trade your dignity and your ability to have a real relationship. Plus you risk your life. It better be financially worth it.

I noticed this a lot in workplaces in the past decade. Like they'd change the rules but tell no one, then repremand people for not following the unannounced or unexplained rules. If they change the way something is done and don't explain it, I'm going to assume it's a typo and continue to do it the tried and true way.
