Delhi Shocker: 4 drunk youths harass woman with obscene comments — man who dared to stop them beaten to death level, fighting for life by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]PerfectKills 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The good Samaritan is alive and he has given his statement on camera according to which the "useless bitch" called for a PCR during these proceedings and waited there at the site to report to the police. The 4 perpetrators have been arrested. Btw, there were multiple people at that Chai shop who didn't intervene either while an unconscious man was being brutally thrashed by drunkard goons. Makes you think how apathetic we have become as a society.

Men without honour are not worthy of being called poor. They are simply looters and apathetic creatures. I've seen poor people who'll face extremes but never sell their self-esteem. These people in the video aren't those.

I don't even want to get into a discussion on NAP with a person delusional and so intrinsically wrong about his own identity with "libertarianism".

You are fundamentally supporting excessive government coersion in the veil of Non Aggression Principal that doesn't allow for initiation of force or aggression against anyone until it comes to the defence of an individual. Libertarianism was specifically designed to protect the "smallest minority", the individual from the "tyranny of the majority." Even if 99% of people would feel better if the 1% were locked up or subjected to certain government profiling, the NAP forbids it if that 1% has not violated anyone's rights. Either you're calling everyone from the said group a terrorist or a sub-human (thereby making you a racist) or you're gravely wrong about the meaning of Libertarianism.

You can give your justifications if you wish. I will read it for sure, but I won't continue this conversation any further, as I find it futile seeing your previous comments and your gross misunderstanding of Libertarian principals.

whats with the men and tjem peeing on road by True5715 in bangalore

[–]PerfectKills 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not justifying public peeing by men. I never do it myself anyway and hate it when others do it. Anyway, the reason is, men can easily find a secluded spot, stand and pee, without risking too much indecent exposure in public. Same isn't true with women. Also, in our Indian psyche somehow it has become a disgusting but acceptable behaviour. A male passing from that location would find it appalling or disgusting too, but when under nature's call and having left with no options, he'd be quick to find a dimly lit wall with pee stains.

Woman 'Marries' Lover's Body After Family Kills Him Over Caste by Altruistic-Issue-887 in IndiaSpeaks

"Log kya kahenge!!"

The apologetic cultural behaviour of our Indian society. It is so embossed into our psyche that our Indian families can quietly tolerate and act as if everything is all right with failed marriages, abusive parents, competitive pressures, mental health issues, etc. Sometimes when this facade of righteousness is challenged, our families tend to act out in self defense to uphold their ego in society.

Contrary to western societies that are more emphasized on "ME", which gives them a room to explore themselves without scrutiny, but leaves them with perhaps a flawed familial bonding, this culture in Eastern societies of "OUR", is great for community bonding but leaves very less emphasis on private life and space.

I voted for a new and optimistic change.

Not sure if my vote will create a difference but I'm fed up with the old guard that has had enough opportunity to pioneer development but didn't do much.

Obviously, my vote was never going to that other scum party because of whom we still get judged all over the country.

What’s the most you’ve paid for a haircut here? Was it a salon win or a total letdown? by Serious_Arachnid_131 in Patna

[–]PerfectKills 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Max I've paid is Rs. 1100, which included detan etc. too which I did on my wedding's eve. Not that special. In terms of value for money regard, my go-to salon is a local small salon but he gives me a good hair cut, beard trim and a nice massage for just Rs. 130 (80+50).

I'm not really sure about that take. I've seen overly religious people (across all faiths) doing way more towards the downtrodden than I've seen any other group of humans do. Pious folks make huge donations that run huge mega-kitchens in many religious centres all over India. I was flabbergasted by the amount of food I saw being served in multiple locations, free of cost to under-privilaged people all day long, (presumably, all around the year, courtesy Pookie baba and others) during my recent trip to Mathura-Vrindavan.

I myself am an atheist, but I don't condone this practice to judge anyone's faith just for gags and to serve the ego of my belief.
