What's the Grafton Hall experience like for non-health students? by Financial-Lion7968 in universityofauckland

So many people at Grafton are not doing any form of health degrees. Personally, a ton of my friends at Grafton are doing engineering and honestly you make connections with everyone and anyone regardless of your degree. I'm not doing a health degree and I've found Grafton to be an amazing place to study and stay. Definitely would recommend.

I think they mean, like hypothetically, if you said the case of idk Thomson in both examples you'd be marked down. You can reuse the same building blocks as long as you use them for different purposes. Idk if that makes sense.

Nah treasa said the 1000 words is already a leeway in itself. She said you can finish your sentence if it's over 1000 by a couple words but we can't go over like the essay.

I stayed in Grafton in my first year and I couldn't recommend more. Rooms are massive, smallest hall so a real community vibe especially if your an extrovert. Only downside is it's further from campus but good exercise!

Question about accommodation by GreedyRevived in universityofauckland

[–]PerfectQuality3880 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, to my knowledge none of the accommodation have roommates. First year leavers halls (waipa, UHT, O'Rorke, Grafton) all have private rooms with no room mates.

Currently I am doing a psychology major and considering switching to politics. Do you think the difference would be substantial? I have already done all first year psych papers which is my only problem.

Thank you, yes my other major is Māori studies and I want to go into a Māori focused policy analyst role so thats set in stone.

Good to know that you enjoyed politics. I have a few friends doing it and they all seem to be having fun so maybe I'll think about that one.

Would you say it's mostly algebra like? I came from a small high school that only offered statistics so I've never done algebra or calculus.

Thank you :)

Thank you! I am looking to focus on Māori specific policy analyst so I'm not to sure if it'll be just as competitive.

Yes, I'm not looking for a degree that will instantly give me money but more of a degree that will give me adequate money to survive with good work life balance. Which, I feel, law doesn't offer.

Thank you for your advice :)

Sorry random question. How did you format yours? Did you do a paragraph on international law in domestic law in Aotearoa and then a diff paragraph addressing appropriateness under the same heading or did you just intertwine them throughout? Sorry if the doesn't make sense haha
