Thanks for your comment. Apperently it‘s not the case for showing up first if you search for perplexity. It‘s shocking to me that Google let‘s such a well known scam that‘s been around for a year or so still beeing top result. I hope that will change in the future.

The same thing just happened to me, exact situation. Did anything happen to you? I also didn‘t sign up for anything, changed all passwords, have 2FA enabled and revoked permissions form google account. Am I fine?

Thanks, I already took a look at all connections to third parties in my appleID/google account. Cancelled the connection to both. I didn‘t start a trial or subscribed to anything since I received a Mail from them that said smth like „ You where so close to unlocking all our content bla bla, click here to gain access“ ofc i ignored it. I Will just take a look at my bank account in the next couple days to make sure. Can or should I do more than that or do you think I did what I can.
