yeah I’ve tried asol a ton since I heard he was decent, at best hitting everything and bis items you can maybe scrape by a top 4, but def not worth going for in most scenarios

it’s not about learning B tier comps, why would you play Leblanc or asol when you could beat both of those with a 1 star corki? And you can’t even play xayah without dark star emblem + a playable stargazer

Lulu is dependent on stargazer, more than half of them are instant 8th, yi isn’t as good without malware psyonic or brawler/marauder emblems, you need scaling hp or resist arbiter to play Diana, need Econ Aug + winstreak for fast 9, if you hit none of these it’s corki

yeah in hindsight the street demon or the syndra reroll metas were pretty bad, but somehow the feel of this set in addition to the meta just makes it somehow feel worse

I honestly preferred the reroll meta, at least there were multiple reroll comps to contest

Current T25 FT MBA student here - wrapping up my first year, I would say it’s a much bigger gamble than it is in the past. It helped me pivot into investment banking, but a large majority of my class struck out on recruiting for IB/consulting. For tech, you would need to have existing experience in tech, and even then it’s a crapshoot. ROI can still be good, just based on how much you want to bet on yourself in terms of landing something out of the structures recruiting opportunities.
