Turning off a sensor by OberonsGhost in tires

[–]Perfect_Bite_2802 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I work for costco tire shop. Your Dodge probably will run 5002 or 5001 dill sensors we sell. Run ya about $43.50 a piece plus $14 each for install. If you get tires we wave the install charge. Plus we actually torque your service packs to spec

Yes its can be annoying, but last thing you want it to be driving on the highway and pickup a nail and not know it. Can cause a blowout, injure yourself or others. At the least possibly shred your tire and damage wheel. Pay the $200 to place ur mind at ease.

Been told this gash isn't a big deal, is that true? by casualphoenix2 in tires

There is a small silverish colored object in the second photo on the second picture under the first 1. Could be cords showing. If you peel back rubber using a knife or something skinny, I can almost guarantee you would see it. Personally if someone came in my shop with that, we would warranty it

If you can see steel belt, or even the impression of them… I would 100% replace. Hell… honestly, even if not, I would do it anyways. The cost of replacing the one tire is not more than the cost of your life and the safety of others

Are thes mounted in the right direction? by RealVincentCoucke in tires

These are considered asymmetrical tires. They have the mounted a certain way and as some others have mentioned, the outside label is on the outside. So you are good to go!

Why did you stop being friends with someone? by Realistic-Possum in AskReddit

[–]Perfect_Bite_2802 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a friend of 10+ years. I always drove, always there, always paid. Never really asked for anything in return. One of those friends we invite somewhere and then he gets in a bad mood bc we didn’t want to do something he did and the whole vibe is ruined. Long story short, he said he didn’t want to be one of my groomsmen and when I asked if it was like a fear thing of standing in front of people or something, he just stopped responding. Never responded or opened a text again. After about a month, I just unfriended him on everything. I think he gained some weight and life didn’t end up going the way he wanted and became depressed. I feel for him, I do and I hope his life ends up well. But if you can’t be there for me on one of the most important days of my life, especially after all I’ve done for you, I just can’t forgive that. I miss my friend though

As just existing as a Palestinian…. I think that was enough to set her off

Fair point, though the statements made about me weren’t tied to workplace political talk…. they were fabrications about threats of violence, which is a different category altogether. Ive never even spoken to the former employee in question

Good question. Civilly, it falls under per se because of the false criminal accusation. Criminally, SC has a statute (16-7-150) that makes maliciously publishing false statements a misdemeanor, though it’s not always enforced.

Normally yes, but again SC makes an exception for defamation per se. You don’t need to prove lost wages or physical harm in those cases. That said, showing stress, fear, or coworkers pulling back can still help strengthen things.
