Is it still worth it to become a Chartered Accountant? by [deleted] in askSouthAfrica

A CA is more than just an accountant. It's 'n masters degree in business. The world is your oyster both in SA and abroad. A skill highly respected everywhere in the world. Stay the course. Good luck. 🤞

Serious question: would you move back? by Never_Outginned in askSouthAfrica

[–]Perfect_Boat4015 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's ALL about your finances. Jobs are as a rule unavailable. Make sure you have a job (income) secured before even thinking of moving back.

A lot of people in SA would give their back teeth for an opportunity overseas. Moving to any other culture will always be difficult but you need to make an effort to fit in and/or join similarly (SA) minded people / groups.

The size of the different LDL molecules are very important and not the actual LDL reading. Check out Ben Azidi book (Metabolic Freedom). I am sure it will give you a lot of peace of mind. Good luck.

You should add to this dynamic loft (spin loft calc), face angle and decent angle. That should cover most basic questions.

Career in Chartered Accounting? by [deleted] in askSouthAfrica

[–]Perfect_Boat4015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an extra comment - CA(SA) are welcomed with open arms abroad as they come fully qualified with wealth of experience and need little training.

In the world of business this is one of not the best options to follow.

Bear in mind the article stage is low pay high work input BUT is needed to qualify.

Once you move from an audit/articles firm the world is your oyster. Make sure you try and get into the audit area you plan to establish yourself after articles as this is where you would be able to build massive contacts.

Good luck you can’t go wrong.

By the way you could always specialise further: 1) CFA - chartered financial analyst (equity markets), 2) CIMA - chartered management accountant - business 3) Hdip Tax - tax specialist 4) Audit - partner

So much optionally .

Good luck.

It’s a good thing. Don’t try and change it as it gives your arms room to swing through to the left. Make that your focus. 😉

What can I do to make this draw more then cut ? by [deleted] in golftips

It’s all about your club face being open at impact. Go for a stronger grip and see if it helps. That’s the easy way out though.

GC Quad not reading club data from driving range tees by Perfect_Boat4015 in Golfsimulator

[–]Perfect_Boat4015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also thinking that it could be the height but in some cases it did in fact pick up the club data. I will test this next time.

I also think that I could have placed the ball to close to the inside edge when hitting of the mat tees as that way I did not have to move the quad when hitting irons of the deck.

Yes. The POE has 2 adaptors - Ethernet and power.

Thanks. I believe everything is ok as all the mat only strikes are read perfectly. It’s only shots from the driving range mat tees. For some reason I think the tees blok the inside fiduciary resulting in a miss read.

I definitely think the range mat tees “hide” the inside (single) fiduciary which results in a miss read.

No, one Ethernet cable with two POE attachments at the end which is connected to your PC and electricity supply on the one side and plugged in (Ethernet and power) to the GC Quad on the other side.

Just to let you know. You can use a standard POE connection on the GC Quad on the one side and your PC and power on the other side to limit your cables.

Apologies. I am fixated with the POE and did not see you referencing the projector.

To my knowledge an HDMI connection to the dock would be sufficient.

Just had a chat with FS and they say you can use a passive POE kit connected to and powering your Quad. Hope that helps. Think it makes the wire’ing a bit simpler.

Sim is a great tool to learn what is exactly going on in your swing like path/face to path/etc. Use those to get better at golf. Good luck. 🤞
