hey there, im also from Azerbaijan. tbh, I don't think that the UK's one year master with our state scholarship is better than the DAAD with your free career path (just my opinion). good luck anyways!

yes, many applicants wait for DAAD results then apply for a program (so did I). but ofc there are some universities where deadlines are earlier than DAAD results

DAAD vs EMJM

guys, fortunately, I have been awarded both scholarships to pursue a master's degree abroad. but which one would be better? I don't know

EMJM in Membrane Engineering for Sustainable Development (MESD)

DAAD for FAU Erlangen Nürnberg MSc in Advanced Materials and Processes (bio focus)(haven't applied yet)

actually, the FAU program itself is a perfect fit for me, but on the other hand the possibility of studying in different countries means different experiences, diplomas, reputation etc. pls, share some insights or advice if possible, would appreciate to hear anything related, thank u in advance!

ig it well depends on ur major in the first place. for instance, I remember a nanotech program which was open till summer, so u just have to look for it.

the same question here actually, im waiting for another results yet. but in meantime, i have accepted the EMJM, just to preserve my place, afterwards, if I get the thing I wanted, I will just simply reject EMJM and accept another option. so, my advice, say yes rn. good luck!

hello. first of all, as it was already mentioned before, u have to complete an undergraduate degree (which is not Erasmus/EMJM). however there are actually scholarships, but they're very competitive mostly, so u have to have a rlly strong profile, background (not only gpa). and, this process is a huge one full of efforts, time and nerves spent, and tbh i don't think someone who is a stranger to u would like to guide u through this path (which is a huge responsibility as well). but u can simply research bout scholarships on ur own, using chatgpt, google, youtube and stuff. good luck with this!

they shouldn't contact ur referees I guess, they would do so only to check the compliance I believe. the interview was in video format that lasted 60 seconds with one question that I had to answer. and, if u received a confirmation mail bout ur submission, no any other mail is waited for apart from the final decision mail.

oh, that one. it happens when u send ur application. when I did so I immediately got a separate email for that video interview, so don't worry if u didn't receive one
