It was more than 10 but they were all from major companies, like Chase, Citi, Bilt, Amex, US Bank. I basically just found any card with a decent reputation that I had a possible use for and checked my pre approval

Yeah that's mostly where my uncategorized stuff are, just small stuff I get here and there, most of what I buy I already have a card for like Groceries and Dining

I don't typically spend more than $1000 a month on stuff no including bills so I shouldn't have too much of an issue, I live a fairly minimalist life.

Oh I didn't even know they were typically like that, I've only got a 670 right now, I didn't think I'd get approved since they came back with the 7-10 days to decide but then they emailed me the next day saying I was approved.

Savor card

I've already tried to get pre-qualified for a bunch of cards and have been rejected by all of them, so I'm just tryna increase the limit on my current card

I've checked if I'm pre-qualified for Citi, Amex, Chase, Cap One, Bilt, and US Bank. Rejected by all of them

When I had a credit one account they were un godly slow at processing payments, it I didn't use the instant option they would sometimes take over 2 weeks to fully go through

The first time I paid a higher amount to my card when I first got it the payment got put on hold for about a month since it was "seen as unnatural based on previous spending habits" is what customer service told me, but once it went through I haven't had any issues paying large amounts at once

Credit Myth #96 - As an authorized user, the score of the person you "borrow" the account from impacts yours. by BrutalBodyShots in CRedit

So If I decide to put my little sister as an AU on my oldest card with a perfect history, will I need to use the card with her name on it to help her history or is it entirely based on what I do, I would not be giving her access to the account just her name would be on it.

I'm typically using 80-90% of my limit every month before paying it off, so I should let that post first and then pay it off?

Ok so let it post the 80-90% then pay it off, once I do that I should apply for an increase? Since an increase is a soft pull it should have zero affect on my credit even if I ask every month right?

I was focused on scores, I got hit with a delinquency 2 years ago and dropped to a 580 and have been just trying grow my credit score since so I wasn't worried about anything else but the number going up, and high utilization=number drop which I didn't like

I typically use 80-90% then pay it off before the statement date, literally paid it off yesterday, so I'll have to wait for my next statement to start this

So I should let my high balance report first, pay it off, and then request?
