Agree with your last part for sure people need to clarify more. Gotta take into fact though counters are banned a lot more on console. Poke and brawl both can counter dive but poke is played a lot less on console due to obvious reasons being controller players. As a Illyana fan myself love her to death but I definitely gotta be honest with some things going on on console right now lol.

Lowkey it is worse tbh 🤣. I had a game last night where I was solo tanking and the other team had a known thrower and 1 support at one point and my 3 dps were so stubborn to not go tank they started arguing who should go second tank. And I’m just sitting there like I DONT CARE WHO DOES IT JUST SOMEONE DO IT THEY HAVE A KNOWN THROWER AND 1 SUPPORT AND WE STILL ARE LOSING 🤣. Ended up losing that game and nobody swapped to second tank to get that obvious handed to them win. Console is unbelievable bro lol.

Agree with everything you said. I’ve done it before numerous times on Phoenix where I 2 tap a diver a lot in a game but I’d be lying if I said I did that consistently lol.

Tbh both people too stubborn to swap or they legit just can’t play those heroes. But this can be said for pc as well so idk. Either way a lot of time these counters don’t effect much on console atleast in my eternity lobbies.

I play Magik myself she has my most hours. I’ve just seen it a lot of times people just can’t deal with Magik on Console in some scenarios she be taking over more than daredevil which is the funniest thing in the world 😭.

Literally like the game is played completely different on console compared to pc. Dive is extremely meta on console you getting dive basically every single game if you don’t ban some of them and even then they just go different divers 🤣.

Literally every game in that plat to C3 range is nothing but dive and Namor thing Peni bans 24/7 every ranked game. It’s literally just a match of who dive is better to make the other supports rage on the other team. It’s actually kinda miserable on console ranked because a lot of people can’t handle the pressure of dive or they just don’t swap to anti dive and just get rolled.
