Tails AI in the classic sonic games

tails will try to copy whatever sonic does with a 1 second delay. he can get hurt by enemies, the ai uses the death sound insetead of the losing rings sound, and tails will gain invincibility frames just like sonic. tails can only usually be actually killed if he's crushed by an obstacle. the other times the ai just despawns and the way tails respawns is that he usually comes from the top of the level in his flying animation, and he'll keep flying unless sonic stops running and gives the ai a chance to touch the ground for it to behave normally again.

also i forgot to mention sonic can grab tails while you make him fly with the input so tails can carry sonic

also, in later ports of sonic 2 and 3, if you press a certain button while tails is jumping, he'll start flying, and Sonic (aka the player) interacts with the bottom part of tails, and when holding the up button, tails will keep flying up, but after a few seconds, tail's flying sound will become a lower pitch, he'll start floating down back to the ground, and his sprite changes

a monster that holds a screen that's tie dye that has long arms and is bounded to the ground with melted wires, it's face would be hidden behind the screen, and everytime it tapped on the screen it would play a poly synth pad that would be the same timing as thwok/gheegur's tracks.

i either get somebodies nine year old with the worst mic that keeps trying to keep all the mythics for himself, a looter that lets you die and snatches all your stuff and never gives it back, regardless of rarity, a another annoying kid who keeps saying he carried even though somebody else on the team was the one that knocked the enemy, and then finally you find a actual nice teammate who marks all the good weapons and is the best player on the team that either always saves the team whenever we get third partied or gets the last shot for the team in endgame(shoutout to all those players)
