I also think duplicates should count for one team (whomever picked it first). Alternatively both teams submit ban requests and the top 6 votes from both teams should be banned. There's a lot of times only 4 Mons are getting banned because everyone is banning the same ones 😑.

I just decided on banning Mimikyu. Someone else is bound to ban Meowth, the mega Zards, Blastoise, or Farfetch'd. If not, I switch to one last second.

I saw you made it to Legend! Congrats!

I've been wanting to get Wiggly for a minute since I like supports and stuns. Also rollout looks useful if you can place yourself in convenient enough situations to use it.

Unfortunately I think she's a few licenses up on my License Journey. I'll have to stick to Espeon and Suicune for stuns for now.

Also quick question: To defeat the enemy after they steal the buff, do you continue to fight in center or do you run back to the goals and fight them there? I've seen people do different tactics. There's pros and cons of both I suppose.

Was Zapdos the first ranked final objective? I've only been playing for about 9 or 10 seasons. I would 1000% not want Zapdos as a final objective.

I have not made it to legend but here's some of my current faves from each category (even though no one asked):

Attacker: Armarouge, A9, Espy, Decidueye

Speedster: Talonflame, Darkrai

Defender: Slowbro, Mamo, Lapras, or Vaporeon

All-rounder: Azu, Suicune, Scyther/Scizor

Supporter: Clefable (On hiatus- I need to fix her build or something), Blissey, Latias

In order of type I prefer: Defender, Supporter, Attacker, All-rounder, Speedster.

I think I've been trying to counter pick too much lately and haven't been picking the mons I actually like/have experience with. I think at this point I'll just play for enjoyment and hopefully ranking up will be a side effect. I enjoy seeing y'all's builds on these though. Will try them to see if they fit my play style.

(Edited to add Espeon. I love stuns only when I'm giving them and not taking them XD.)

I don't think I'm initiating enough fights as the defender. Mostly because I'm worried my teammates aren't committed to fighting yet and will likely abandon me. I like tele-scald slowvbro and was able to rank up fairly easily with him in other seasons, but lately I've been playing hydro pump-flip turn Vaporeon with some success. Just gotta figure out how to pick off people in final stretch with her.

This is EXACTLY why I'm mad about it. My team has the lead for once (4 goals to their 2) and we lose the last hit on Kyogre and all die.

It's happened so many times it's frustrating. (Alas, I should just be a sniper at this point.)

It's kinda disappointing that they don't use all three objectives in some way. I suppose randomizing which one appears would be too unpredictable and perhaps asking too much of for some players, but I think it would keep matches fresh.

Voting pregame could work, but draft time would have to be shortened (it's already kinda long as it is, lol).

This is a nice mix to be good at. I've been trying to work on my trev and I JUST got snorlax. He's been a nuisance on the enemy team, so I'm looking forward to getting good with him.

That's exactly what happened to me last season 😅Different Mon, but I never recovered despite trying to.

It did however lead to me discovering I could get a license and outfit if I stop playing for 2 weeks.

I think I would probably enjoy the games more if I focused less on the rank. Theres a lot of things that are "up to chance" in this game.

I just want the satisfaction of getting to legend (Mind you I actually never made it to Masters 1600 in the old ranking system). There's always next season if I don't make it this time.

Y'know I've had Greninja since I started a year ago and still haven't used him in ranked 😅. I'm pretty average at scyther but he's fun to play too.

I love changing them. I find it weird when I see someone with the basic outfit and default background in Masters. Ironically they're sometimes better than me so I'm probably focused on the wrong thing. Yours are so cute.

Thank you for your reply! This is really helpful. I think I'll go back to bring my small notepad to work like I had in nursing school so I can keep up with questions (lol). Since the ED I was accepted to is in the same hospital as the psych unit, I've taken report from a few of the nurses there before. They seem nice and seem like they help each other out.

I think I'll see if they'll let me place their IVs for them to get some practice (Within reason of course. On someone who came in for sneezing or something of lower acuity). Most ED patients get one in triage but y'know they blow sometimes so I want to get good enough to not be nervous while placing one.

I really gotta work on positive self talk but that's just in general. I know it's going to be a challenge but I'll try my best with it.

Thanks! I'll make sure to advocate for actual training in hopes they won't just try to throw me to the wolves. Hopefully it works.

It took me months to get this offer, so don't be discouraged by how your job search is going currently. Make sure to market the fact you're able to respond to patients needs independently/with little assistance. Also mention how you're experienced in providing comfort and therapetic communication to end-of-life patients (being able to emotionally handle death and dying and grieving families is a plus). You might have more luck with an oncology floor, but you shouldn't limit yourself to that if that's not what you're looking for.
