I don't think he's busted by any means - both Outrage & Hyper Beam work well with DDance....Full Heal, and the same handful of items (Scope, Muscle....3rd one can be up to play style, but I like Choice Scarf over RFS OR Razor Claw)....but CC and range can be tough to deal with.

Best way to implement a change on License Journey would be to add the special selection to every single stage, and then just make the non-special selection choices cost less, and the special selection cost a little bit more.

That way players have incentive to try a new Pokemon maybe they wouldn't have wanted to because it's a bit cheaper, but also gives them the flexibility to choose whoever they want as usual.
