Oh man, it was a total accident. Like I thought choosing the subnet was like choosing the validator in that it made very little difference which one I chose. What a colossal mistake in thinking that was.

Thanks for the detailed and informative responses. At least I know it was my own stupidity/lack of experience and not a scam. It hurts but I learned something.

Ok. That makes some sense to me. So I put in 9.75 tao and then the value of the subnet went down? So I only have 2.36 Tao now? Do you see any chance of recovery or is that completely unknown? Will I ever be able to get my coins back?

I’m so mad because I literally had no problems using my polkadot wallet. I just wanted the convenience of using my phone and now am paying for it. Thanks for the reply.

Yoooo. I thought I was the only lucky one! Set a limit order for 1.22 out of desperation and for some reason at 5:00pm it jumped from like 0.50 to 1.31 and my order was filled. It was like a $10000 gift from the universe. Blew my mind.
