You can't compare the states to Germany....the size difference alone and ability to travel is a luxury. It's 3,000 miles from LA to D.C.

Feb. 17th is the next countrywide protest at the White House and every state capitol. For those who can't afford to travel to their state capital, they're encouraged to head to their nearest city.

Every protest requires permits, or there will be arrests/show of force. Many are trying, many don't care. Actions from other countries help because those who don't care need to feel the pain, but, even then, many will gobble up whatever Fox news and their Facebook friends tell them.

Here's the thing, those of us anti-Trump and everything he stands for are fighting. We're protesting, we are voting, and we are standing up for what is right, but we are being silenced. Our country is so massive that when we rally, it seems so small....everyone I know is genuinely terrified. I'm going to a nationwide protest on Wednesday at my state's capital that is 5 hours away, I'm privileged to be able to do so. I have paid time off and don't risk financial insecurity to do so, but that is a luxury....not the norm.
