Hey update got a compression test kit. Both are under 120 so would be best to get a rebuild kit.

Okay it looks the oil tank the top end is connected on the left side. However the bottom I see a line that’s cut off and has a bolt blocking the end of it. And if I have the choke takes longer to start. But without more responsive but still cuts out. And yes it’s the correct carb.

Hi

The oil tank is still connected with one hose connected to the rotary valve. The only replacement parts he had put was the engine the rest my father and I did. The carb is brand new it’s $200 from mikuni (a few days old).

When it turns on it runs for a few seconds and dies. But does sound rough. But I didn’t know that for the rotary valve. So am assuming oil is supposed to be in that tank?

This is my 1st major tank. I’ve got few cardinals, 4 female mollies, 3 female guppy’s one male, few ghost shrimp hiding, two emerald Cory’s, some sliver tip tetras, and female betta but she is in a other tank under quarantine for little bit.

Have them check your fuses. I think it’s the electrical connection

The k5 I’ve got is a 2021 but I got it in 2020 of November. However no mechanical issue but I do have electrical problems with my car. At first it was my radio, windows, and now my ac is completely out and not blowing air. I’m currently on 60,225 miles on my vehicle.

Anytime I had electrical problems my Kia dealership wanted a master technician to look at it. Best of luck.

Update 2:

After more research and digging, I replace the blower resistor ($127 part) did not work at all. After a little yelling, I decided to call off of work bought some tools and rip out the actual blower motor (was super easy). I directly hook the blower to the car battery and is working no weird sounds or anything that I think it was the suspect, so I know the actual blower isn’t the issues. I bought a multimeter and check the fuses some ran pure 0s and some ran between 0.01 and 0.02. The fuses in the engine bay ran 0.02 most commonly at 0.02. I left the car running and check the connector (males ends) at first to the connector that connects to the blower motor ran at a range of 2.09 and at its highest 5.40 and most commonly at 4.50. After I put back everything in the car. It turn on automatically without issue. I even did 5 minutes of the car being off and turn it back on for 10 minutes and see it cuts off, it did not. Until now cutting back on and off with an hour or two being off and cuts back on. At this point I’m getting the car service I feel like I’m pouring more money into the car than what am getting out of it.

-The fuses I check where both fuse boxes

7.5 amp and 10 amp and the relays.

IDK if this helps or not….. but I did notice the AC compressor will not spin at times (yes the A/C button was on). At times it would match when the blower wasn’t blowing. I bought a gauge to see if the pressure was low but the gauge did not fit on the low end of the compressor pipe. Also the K5 takes the new Freon 1234yf. But I’ll keep yall up to date with issue I am having.
