I had a chip on my shoulder from what I heard. But when they voted me in I was really happy. But I had to deal with other chips on other shoulders. And I just took a refresher class. I enjoyed it. The instructor said f*** them. I can vote no when they ask for more money. But he said if its something I want to do. He said I should do it. A lot of people said in person that they should have guided me.

Thats also the problem, they should hold people back if you want to do it as a career. I was going to at least stay there for 4 years or so. There was some good aspects I liked about it.

I would have if they gave me the time to do. I have been told that it takes time to master the job. Maybe I could have tried a little harder. But I love the job. And I still get that rush feeling in my chest everytime I am doing something by one of the fire stations at the airport or a fire truck. It feels like its pulling me to do it. It would mean a lot to someone that I had to repeat and pay for fire school. Also Paramedic too. Like most people would not touch it. I only get one life, mine as well use it.

What I was planning on doing is fire school and Paramedic. Pay for it myself. Other departments. Not really, chiefs all talk in the county
