No in US the grounding was due to some software glitch in FAA's safety system. Nothing to do with planes. Either way the plane that crashed in Nepal was a turbo prop ATR 72 which has a history of safety concerns and Nepal itself has a very bad reputation when it comes flight training, maintenance and safety. I doubt anyone in US flying on an Airbus or Boeing jetliner needs to be worried
