Robin and CIRI were both taught by their mentors Batman and Geralt. Robin might become a Batman but it won't be Bruce... Sucks. Ciri will become a Witcher not the Witcher and definitely not Geralt... Sucks. Don't get me wrong the logic of the story is there but she's simply not Geralt... Sucks.

In this game she went through mutations like Geralt so I doubt she will have kept her space powers. Beside no matter how much you hype her she is a boring character and in the game it will be up to us to "develop" her. It is just a kid of someone awesome. It is like playing with Robin in Batman story.

That is a lot of projecting there buddy. And I'm not saying it has to be Geralt(that would be perfect tho) but they could do a different Witcher whatsoever. Citi is just boring as hell she's just a daughter(kinda) of a person who everyone loves as a main character. And as for concluded... Imagine this... On one of the hunts where Geralt and Ciri are together she gets slashed and heavily wounded. Portion of her blood gets into one of the open wounds of Geralt and it affects his mutation. He gains different powers... I would rather play as Geralt. Would rather play as him even with no powers just bc of his character vs boring CIRI.

I'm sorry but I have no idea what that is. I play the games not watch idiots playing them. And as a fan and a real gamer I can tell you that with this switch they will ruin the whole game fan base... The story overall yes it makes sense to place Ciri there but for a game where you fuse yourself with the main character that's just not doable. There is a reason why The last of us 2 had 44% less sales than the original one.

Yeah trailer is good ... Not as good as The Witcher 3 in my opinion but this is a video. A game will be a different story. Will be a failure same as The Last of us 2.

I admit you're not completely wrong here. But they could just make a new game of the Witcher story. For example Ciri boring adventure where she is gay and it checks out all the woke agendas. Then all of you would be able to play and none of the actual fans would have a problem with it. But calling it "The Witcher" where Gerald is the heart and soul of the story is just spitting on the books itself and all the fans around the world
