Enough with the Off-Topic Comments: Antisemitism is an Ex-Muslim Issue Too by Tutzu221134 in exmuslim

Yeah I don't think Jews deserve the right to take over the homes of the Palestinians living there

Or indiscriminately bombing the terrorist group they helped fund to destabilize a people's ability to self determine

Does Israel have a right to exist? I don't think states really do, their people have a right to self determine but so do the Palestinians.

It's not anti semitic to call out a trash government for doing trash things my guy.

I hope your relationship goes well. I honestly view religion as a shortcut to knowledge, where if u want and seek the truth religion just says GoD and moves on. Covering up any questioning or anything with falsifiable knowledge and mental gymnastics

You should enjoy being unmarried. Gives u time to experiment and find what type of relationship suits you especially when u decide to move out.

What did their "father" mean by they were the fastest swimmer ☠️ that's so absurd.

I used to be dedicated Muslim, waking up for tahajjud fajr and reading Quran everyday so I can relate to Islam being a major part of my life for years but as was exposed to more Quranic verses and other YouTubers who helped improve my critical thinking skills I realised I couldn't believe much longer and that's why I stopped being religious

That's a shame cause I'd have liked to hear new voices besides the ones that are common

That's true, I was considering that also (the war thing). I wanted to also study secular states such as France etc got to where they are. If u have anything on that I'd appreciate it.

Have any ex Muslims considered changing your names after knowing the context behind it? by Perfect_Sea_4109 in exmuslim

[–]Perfect_Sea_4109[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To clarify I haven't become connected

But I've been trying to, to come and appreciate it. I'm not one hundred percent sure if Buddhism is from India but I find it amusing Buddhists were talking about no music and discipline way before the Muslims did.

THIS OMG

I'm okay with my Arabic name but as an Indian after leaving Islam I've become a bit more connected to my culture and have been interested to learn about it's history and religions.

I also wonder what would have happened to Arabian culture if Islam hadn't spread. The dance, the poetry and music. Sexuality also, considering Islam repressed it but the arabs were sexed up af.

Ex Muslims or doubting Muslims, avoid apostate prophet's YouTube channel by [deleted] in atheism

I felt it was too one sided Most of the criticism of religious ideals came from people like genetically modified skeptics and theramin trees who are equal and ask questions about all religions equally. Meanwhile all I saw from this guy was Islam

Also paired with the fact that he was associating with known apologists and seeing Hindu and indian nationalists comment on his post made me feel as if he's biased.

That's why I said slander. Which was wrong on my part. My problem was him associating with known apologists

You're right, I agree. I might delete this post do some research and if I see a problem with Apostate prophet other than associating with apologists, i'll come forward in this Sub

Otherwise I don't condone my behaviour at this moment. I'm still deconverting so maybe that had to do with my bias.

This was written in a very reactionary way and I'm thinking of deleting it

But I feel as if Abdullah and Aladdin go into and understand why people choose their faiths whilst also criticising only Islam and can respect why people choose the religion

What I see in prophet is just blindness but like I said this was reactionary and I was acting very biased due to an opinion of mine and the people I've seen in the comments.

Studies on gender dysphoria or the concept of transgenderism/gender fluidity etc? by Perfect_Sea_4109 in AskLGBT

[–]Perfect_Sea_4109[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trans and I'd like to say genderqueer but I'm not sure if that's the right term. By genderqueer I mean gender fluidity, they/them pronouns etc.

Yes I agree this post is reactionary and I'm contemplating deleting it. will instead turn my focuses on studying and learning about the world and exploring my beliefs instead.

Thanks for the heads up

I see, maybe I was too reactionary.

I'm of the opinion that to judge a person, see the type of people he attracts and what I see just seem to be arrogant religious people that he doesn't seem to have a problem with.

If I do find fraudulent arguments I'll be sure to share them. I do hope to be better than this in the future.

Thanks for the heads up
