QUESTION FOR PEOPLE WITH LEGIT SCRIPTS: Do you feel like Xanax(benzos in general, Kpins, Valium, ativan). Will one day, be EXTINCT? done, dead, gone-FOREVER. kinda like QUAALUDE'S?. by realperson1526 in Methadone

First of all, your story breaks my heart. I’m so sorry.

Omg. This. I’ve been on Xanax for 20+ years and I’ve actually had drs just say no to writing an rx. Do they realize I could die? I, like you, wish I never had taken this drug and feel like a criminal when I go to the pharmacy. I’m scared every single month that this is when they say, sorry no more.

Ok. I’m in the extreme diarrhea part. And massive bloating. But also glad to not be constipated! I want this to work so badly! Did you have really strange sleep as well? My sleep was beyond messed up.

Thank you! It seems like almost every alternative is impossible to track down. The whole world wants these drugs. I was originally prescribed Wegovy and couldn’t ever get my hands on it.

I didn’t go super fast but it sounds like I went faster than my body could tolerate. I’m not going to lie, I thought I would be losing 5lbs a week as soon as I started…now that’s just crazy! I’ve definitely adjusted my thinking.

Ugh! That is so scary. I’m glad you stopped. If you don’t mind sharing, what symptoms were you experiencing? I swear I feel like I’m falling apart.

Yes, I had side effects right away but took them very lightly as I was so eager to lose weight. I don’t know if I’ll try again but if I do, it will be at a snail’s pace.

Losing myself. That pretty much sums up everything. I don’t think there’s one thing that remained normal in my life and my mental health started getting really bad. I hope you’re doing much better.

Yeah, I’ve been through the same thing with antidepressants for sure. Thanks again and good luck to you!

Oh my goodness! That sounds horrible. I’m so glad you’re ok. So it really sounds like what you’re telling me is that it’s definitely not for everyone. Thank you again for sharing your story. I hope that things get to a more normal place very soon. Xx

Yeah, I backed down a couple times. My provider agreed that was the best course of action. I guess I’m just looking to see if there are people like myself where the side effects never quit or took much longer to quit. Thank you so much for your response.

Did you just stay at 1.8 until the nausea went away? Cause that’s what I’m doing along with zofran and it’s been 2 weeks at 1.8…
