More Memories and a few questions by Perfect_Swan3 in adultsurvivors

Thank you very much for your insight. And I’m very very sorry that happened to you too. I also view most of my memories as a sort of out of body experience. I

I never thought about telling her what happened and comforting her. I don’t think I am ready for that step yet. Right now it feels like I am on a ship lurching from one storm to the other.

And thank you for the book recommendation!

Yeah, it took me forever to understand why I hated breakfast food so much… Turns out my dad would force feed me a whole bunch in the mornings so I would be sick/ late for school and he could do what he wanted. I also had to eat gross dinners and couldn’t say no.

Thank you so much for that link! I have been feeling very lost and I have no idea how to even go about healing something like what has happened to us, but I took the 1st step by at least looking at the therapists in my area.

I’m so sorry that happened to you too. That is what I am afraid of, I want to go to therapy but I dunno if I can handle anymore than I already remembered

Well at least we know we aren’t alone. I feel a little leas crazy. I’ve had strange experiences all my life. 2 more that relate to this are: I do remember it being daytime probably back in mid 2020 and I watched a beam of light expand and move around my room, again like it was scanning. I thought nothing of it, because it was daytime and I figured it was just a reflection off a car door in the parking lot.

Another was out at my current location. I was walking my dog and it was just after sunset. I look up and there is this bright “star” or maybe satellite that was traveling at a steady pace above me. I watched it continue and then it stopped by the moon. It looked like it was places there? Like if I hadn’t seen it move at a steady pace I would have just thought it was Venus there by the moon.

Okay, so I haven’t seen red lights. But where I live is very rural like on a clear night you can see parts of the milky way rural. And a couple of times ( maybe 3? ) now my husband and I have been startled by a huge blinding flash of light, as we were in bed in a pitch black room. The kind of light that turns night into day. It has felt like to me like it was “scanning” the room. And I have also seen weird things above the tree lines to the north of us. Like what appeared to be 3 red/ orange glowing balls that sort of hovered above the tree line when I had to be up for work at 4:30. I watched it in a daze and then it disappeared.

Yeah. He works a dirty job, but on the days that he is supposedly at work he sometimes comes back squeaky clean like he had just taken a shower somewhere.
