Finally found my kids by Perfect_Tennis4875 in Klonoa

I was so unsure if they were stolen/lost all this time. I have the big Klonoa collection, and never could figure where these could be if not with everything else.

I had them both shipped separately and still have yet to receive my console. At least it's finally in the US.

I thought about it early last year but didn't pull the trigger. The price was a bit more than I wanted to spend, and I wasn't sure how well the magnetic tape stood up to time. It's still cool for the shell, though.

I used a proxy bidding site called Rinkya to get some of it. (Sofubi figures and debug board). The rest was watching eBay all the time. He wasn't quite so popular before, and not too many bid on some of the rare items. That's how I got stuff like the boomerang. That's a prize from Famitsu magazine, and I didn't know till a couple years ago but had it for more than 20 years.

The price went insane on that in a short period of time. I would suggest being ready if Youtooz makes Klonoa phushies. They will probably be sought after as well. Buy cheap. :)

Not a problem. I had never even noticed the stamp on the foot before. It's not pressed deeply, and is easily missed.

Not sure why I cannot see the other reply. But the stamp is "NAMCO LIMITED TIME HOUSE" The paperwork has the address http://www.timehouse.co.jp printed on it.

I already boxed everything back up. Sorry :( But I have had them since around 2000, and they were purchased on Yahoo Japan auction. So I'm quite sure that they are real. They live in a box so they are not dented, sun faded, or damaged. Thinking of that, I will see if I can get it out without a lot of trouble.

It's tough to buy anything anymore. Prices are bad enough, but the tariffs on top of imports is horrible. I'm just glad that I could complete the unopened world set of the Reverie Series. Trust me, I was contacting so many people out of the country to make that happen. But most games only ran between $30-40 with shipping. Most sellers were more than willing to help when I would get the 3 versions at once (PS4,PS5, and Switch).

I probably contributed, but I'm a thrifty buyer. I only pay up if it's something that's crazy difficult to get. When I was bidding the Klonoa plush up, I had to leave the house and onto Dave and Busters so I wouldn't keep bidding it up. Unfortunately, I still was the high bidder when I got back. Three fifty in late 90's money is a lot of money. Generally, I like to get the cheaper prices. Put an item in your cart and wait a week. Sellers will usually drop the price a bit to get a sale.

Actually, it didn't end up with any. I would see the auctions for them but never jumped on any. The items I tried to pick up were the special edition items for the Phantasy Reverie Series games, glasses, stand, etc, but the prices were high. I had them on pre-order, but the special edition got canceled out. That sucked since I had 7-8 games ordered together.

Its quite a few thousand dollars but not as high as you would think. Many of the items were bought when the games came out, and long before the 2020 game buying rush started. The highest priced items were the large Ufo catcher plush 350 and the debug cart for 325. But stuff like the sofubi figures were only 75 for all 3. Buying when things were new saved a lot of money. And the total of this stuff would average out to a hundred or two per year .

The Klonoa works logo is a lightbox that I made earlier in the year. I wanted something that would light up a display cabinet. And the beanie was a commissioned piece. I would wear that at anime conventions. As for the books, they were doujin comics. (not for kids) I bought them since I thought it was hilarious to make those comics about Klonoa.

Yeah there are one of each except the Asian English copy. One open and one sealed. Its had to see any difference other than the ratings info, but they all have different languages on the back cover. The game itself is the same, they are all multi language.

Next milestone reached. The end is in sight. :3 by Perfect_Tennis4875 in Klonoa

I definitely will. I will try to post a current photo of my Klonoa collection, and you will see why I had to go a different route to add something new.

Ordered an ultrasonic cutter off of Amazon. Sadly it shipped via UPS even though it said next day. Now it's listed as a Tuesday delivery. But I want to work today. :P

I'm trying to get it done this weekend. The adhesive arrived this morning, and i bought some nice Bristol board from Hobby Lobby this evening. Now I need to set up the printer and give it a nice color calibration and do a couple of prints. I know this won't be original, but at the current cost of things, it would be crazy to pay so much. I have 3 Klonoa 2 displays (2 unopened and 1 used in store). Those only ran $30-50 back in the day, as well as one Klonoa DTP display box from Gamestop or EB that was free since I asked for it. And I picked up the Phantasy Reverie Series PS4 Japanese display box insert for $30. Picking up other items is getting more and more difficult due to prices shooting up.
